Hanging Meadow
Our wildlife haven in the heart of Wakehurst's Loder Valley Nature Reserve.

Our Hanging Meadow borders the waterway in the Loder Valley Nature Reserve.
It is an area of ancient grassland that shimmers with wonderful wildflowers and rich insect life in spring and summer.
In the winter months, you may find Hebridean sheep and cows grazing the meadow as part of a natural land management practice.
