Do you have sustainability measures in place?

Kew Gardens cares deeply about reducing waste and in particular avoiding landfill usage. There will be numerous bins around site and these will be labelled as to what should be placed in them in order to maximise the recycling opportunities. It would help us enormously if you could minimise the packaging you bring onto site and take some of your rubbish home with you to dispose of there. We prioritise the use of electricity from low carbon or renewable sources wherever possible, as it aligns with our commitment to reducing emissions, comparable to the benefits of biofuels and with fewer land-use demands.

100% of the fuel that we use is HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) which can reduce net CO2 emissions by up to 90% when compared to a fossil fuel such as diesel.

Is this an accessible event?

We strive to provide an accessible-friendly event for all to enjoy. We offer free essential companion tickets for those that need them.

Accessible toilets are available.

Do you offer Essential Companions Tickets?

We understand that some guests will not be able to access the event without the assistance of an Essential Companion.

We are pleased to be able to offer an Essential Companion ticket for those guests who require additional assistance to enjoy all that we have to offer. The Essential Companion ticket will grant access for both the guest requiring support and the Essential Companion.
