Venue hire accessibility

We aim to provide a friendly and accessible environment for all our Venue Hire clients. Please find below some information regarding accessibility at Kew.
Getting around
The Gardens are largely flat, with tarmac paths in most places. All our venues have accessible entrances, and we can provide wheelchairs upon request.
All recognised guide, assistance or service dogs – including assistance dogs in training – are welcome in the Gardens. We ask that they are recognisable, with a lead or harness that identifies them as working.
Showrounds
We offer all clients the opportunity to visit our venues in person and have a personalised showround with a member of the Venue Hire team. These showrounds can be adapted to suit individual requirements, providing a range of additional support options. We can also increase the duration of showrounds upon request should this be helpful to accommodate any accessibility requirements.
Suppliers
All caterers, production providers and florists must be chosen from Kew’s accredited supplier list. Our accredited suppliers mirror Kew’s commitment to providing an accessible service and can accommodate a wide range of needs. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Venue Hire team directly to discuss any individual requirements.
Facilities
There are gender neutral accessible toilets attached to all venues within our portfolio.
Parking
There are two accessible parking spaces for blue badge holders located on Kew Green, close to both the Elizabeth Gate and Cambridge Cottage entrances. Additionally, in the borough of Richmond-upon-Thames blue badge holders can park anywhere around Kew Green including Pay by Phone and Resident permit holder bays without payment or time restriction.
Hearing loops
A hearing loop is pre-installed within the Nash Conservatory. Should you require a hearing loop within any of our other venues, our accredited production providers can accommodate the installation of one for your event.
